Tabor City Police also investigating another disturbance at Soles’s house Thursday night
FROM A TABOR CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT INCIDENT REPORT:
On the date and time indicated (4/21/2011 @ 2051,) Chief Donald Dowless said that he had received a phone call from an unknown person that there was a suspicious vehicle in the area of Canal Street.
Myself, PTM C. Hilburn and Det. Ken Elliot arrived and found a silver Chevrolet Malibu just beyond the Myrtle Green Cemetery on the side of the roadway.
I approached the vehicle and Frankie Jernigan and his wife, Danielle Jernigan were walking toward me from RC’s driveway.
Frankie said that RC Soles had called him by phone and told him to meet him at his residence, but they were out of gas and were unable to leave.
Moments later, RC arrived and said he had not invited Frankie to his residence and that Frankie was not welcome there.
I was going to have the vehicle towed, but RC offered to take Frankie to get some gas so Frankie could leave.
I told Frankie not to return to RC’s property or he could be charged with trespassing. Frankie complied without incident.
