Taste of Wrightsville Beach returns Nov. 14 to benefit Weekend Meals on Wheels
WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC (WWAY) — The annual Taste of Wrightsville Beach food festival will return Nov. 14, with proceeds benefiting Weekend Meals on Wheels of New Hanover County.
The event is scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. under a tent in the parking lot of Bluewater Waterfront Grill at 4 Marina St. in Wrightsville Beach. Organizers said the event will take place rain or shine.
The festival will feature more than 35 food, beer and wine tasting booths representing restaurants and other businesses from Wrightsville Beach and the surrounding area.
Attendees will have the opportunity to sample food and beverages and vote in the People’s Choice competition. Celebrity judges will also select winners in the event’s competition.
Live music and a charity silent auction are also planned.
Advance tickets are $100 for adults and $25 for children. Tickets are available online through Zeffy.
Organizers said all net proceeds from the event will benefit Weekend Meals on Wheels of New Hanover County, a nonprofit that provides weekend meals and social contact to seniors who are not served by the county’s weekday Home Delivered Meals program.
The event is being presented by MegaCorp Logistics, with Bluewater Waterfront Grill providing the location.
Parking will be available in surrounding areas of Wrightsville Beach. Organizers recommend using taxi or rideshare services.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 14, from 5 to 8 p.m.
