Teacher of the week: Emma Baltezore

CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Teaching second grade comes with a unique set of challenges as students move away from basic learning to applying lessons learned.

Emma Baltezore of Carolina Beach Elementary School faces her class with a combination of compassion and energy as she helps direct them to becoming valued citizens.

With a focus on learning and good manners, Ms. Baltezore says she wants her students to know that when they leave her class they can already make a difference in the world.
