Teacher of the Week: Ian Sands

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Ian Sands left behind the corporate world to teach kids about art.

He landed at South Brunswick High School and his students couldn’t be happier.  WWAY received numerous nominations from both current and former students.

The most common comment from the nominations is that Mr. Sands goes above and beyond for his kids.  It’s something Mr. Sands says he just loves and is happy to be part of their projects.

According to one student, Mr. Sands is a “funny and creative guy who makes every day better.”
