Teacher of the Week: Yvonne Sacewicz

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — At Island Montessori Charter School Yvonne Sacewicz is one busy lady!

With three grades in her classroom she finds herself doing multiple lesson plans for students so that they gain independence and remain curious and creative.

In the classroom students gather where they want, but are guided by Ms. Yvonne, as they call her, to move forward with subjects they choose themselves.

The atmosphere is one of creative learning with a helping hand from a teacher that makes sure they are all achieving success.

Our Teacher of the Week respects the students and believes all of them are the world’s peacemakers of the future.
