Teen arrested for armed robbery, attempted murder

WILMINGTON — The Wilmington Police and New Hanover County sheriff's departments teamed up to arrest 19-year-old Kylen Padgett of Wilmington.

Padgett is charged with attempted murder and armed robbery. He's accused of assaulting Christopher Rich in the 100 block of Cobblestone Drive late Wednesday night.

Padgett is being held under a $500,000 secured bond.
