Teen arrested for firing shots into vehicle

WILMINGTON — Our rash of gun violence continues. A teenager is under arrest after firing shots into an occupied vehicle in Wilmington.

Nicholas Lanier, 18, was picked up Wednesday night in the 300 block of Williamson Drive after reports of shots fired.

He was found with a stolen mini-14 assault rifle nearby and about 100 rounds of ammunition.

Lanier is being held under $50,000 bond.
