Teen girl arrested, suspected of carjacking

WILMINGTON — A 16-year old girl is in jail Monday. She’s one of two suspects in a carjacking over the weekend.

Police say a woman matching Alicia Ramos’s description car-jacked a man at gunpoint on Rankin Street Sunday morning.

Police arrested Ramos a couple of hours later driving the vehicle that was reported stolen.

Ramos is charged with possession of a stolen vehicle and possession of a firearm by a minor.

Investigators are still looking for a second suspect in the case.
