Teens charged with robbing delivery man

NEW HANOVER COUNTY — Deputies arrested two people Saturday in connection with a robbery and assault of a pizza delivery man in New Hanover County.

Eighteen-year-old William Walter James Jr. and an unnamed 15-year-old are charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and felony conspiracy.

Investigators say the robbery happened around seven Friday night on Promenade Court in the Northchase development.

The delivery man, who works for Hoobie’s pizza, refused to be taken to the hospital for treatment.
