Ten swine flu cases confirmed in South Carolina

Public health officials have confirmed 10 cases of swine flu in South Carolina. The South Carolina cases were linked to Newberry Academy, which is outside of Columbia.

Several students at the private school recently returned from a trip to Mexico.

Nationwide, more than 100 cases of swine flu has been confirmed in at least 11 states. The confirmed cases in South Carolina are the first in the southeast.
