Testaverde thinks healthy Carr will get nod at QB for Panthers

CHARLOTTE (AP) — Carolina Panthers quarterback Vinny Testaverde thinks he may be holding a clipboard during Sunday’s game with Indianapolis.

The 43-year-old quarterback has been the talk of the NFL after leading the Carolina Panthers to a win four days after signing with the team.

But now he sounds as if he’ll be the backup behind David Carr.

He says he hopes Carr can play this weekend.
