The Veterans Healing Field

The Battleship North Carolina’s Riverside Park looks like a sea of American flags tonight.

Preparations are underway for this weekend’s Memorial Day ceremonies.

Dozens of people came together to put up 15 hundred red, white and blue flags for tomorrow’s Memorial Day ceremony at 10 am.

Each flag is dedicated to a US service member killed in the line of duty.

The Veterans Healing Field will remain through Memorial Day.
