‘They Will Surf Again’ needs hundreds of volunteers
CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Ocean Cure of Carolina Beach hosts Life Rolls On ‘They Will Surf Again’ this summer. It is a quality of life event that will take place August 12th on the beach strand in front of the Carolina Beach Boardwalk. Last years event involved close to 100 adaptive surfers and 400 volunteers. The event will run from 9am-4 pm.
Life Rolls On was founded by World Champion quadriplegic surfer Jesse Billauer and is dedicated to improving the quality of life of young people affected by spinal cord injury. The organization believes adaptive surfing and skating inspires infinite possibilities beyond paralysis.
