Thieves target unlocked cars in Leland

LELAND, NC (WWAY) — A rash of car break-ins has residents in Leland uneasy.

Leland Police got seven calls yesterday alone, all in the area of Magnolia Greens, Waterford and Brunswick Forest.

Most of the cars were unlocked and items were stolen from inside. Police remind you to keep cars locked and valuables out of sight.
