Third Point brother pleads guilty in stabbing

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Prosecutors say the last of three brothers charged with a March 2014 stabbing has admitted to the crime.

The District Attorney’s Office says Antonio Point, 23, pleaded guilty today in New Hanover County Court. A judge sentenced him to 47 and 79 months for his involvement in the stabbing of Edvis Galloway outside a Wilmington convenience store.

Point’s brothers, William, 21, and Adrian, 24 entered guilty pleas in the case late last year.

Wilmington Police Department says the crime was gang-related and in retaliation for other violence that had been previously directed at the Points.
