Three charged in string of car break-ins

BURGAW, NC (WWAY) — Burgaw Police say three men are facing 276 charges in connection with an investigation into a string of car break-ins.

Police say Michael Deaver, 25, Jonathan Irizarry, 30, and Joseph Irizarry, 28 are charged in an incident on December 13. Investigators say the 276 total charges range from felony motor vehicle breaking and entering charges to felony conspiracy charges. Police say more charges are pending.

All three suspects were arrested by the Duplin County Sheriff’s Office for related charges of motor vehicle break-ins and are also being investigated in Onslow County. Both Irizarry men reside in Beulaville; Deaver resides in Onslow County.
