Three injured in two separate Wilmington shootings

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Three people are in the hospital and the search is on for suspects after two separate shootings in Wilmington on Monday.
According to a Wilmington Police Department spokesperson, the first one happened just after 2:30pm in the 900 block of N. 30th St. One juvenile and one adult were shot. Both were taken to Novant NHRMC with non life-threatening injuries.
The second shooting happened about an hour later, in the 600 block of 11th St. An adult male was injured. He was also taken to Novant NHRMC with non life-threatening injuries.
WPD says at this time, there are no suspects in custody for either of the shootings, and the investigation continues in both.
