Three car accident sees one person go to hospital

A three-vehicle pile-up tied up traffic along 23rd Street and Martin Luther King Parkway late Monday afternoon.

A Cape Fear Community College training truck was turning left onto 23rd Street from MLK at a green light.

A silver Cadillac was approaching the intersection and failed to stop. It struck another car, sending it into the side of the tractor-trailer.

One person was rushed to New Hanover Medical with minor injuries.

The driver of the silver Cadillac was charged with charged with speeding.
