Time running out for Tdap vaccine
Time is running out for sixth graders who have not received their Tdap vaccine.
The Tetanus-Diphtheria-Pertussis vaccine is mandatory in North Carolina.
The deadline for 6th graders is 30 school days from the county’s school start date. That is today in Brunswick County.
Students who are not vaccinated will be sent home from school.
You can get your child vaccinated for free by contacting your county health department. You can also have it done by your family doctor, for a fee.
