Topsail Beach has a new town manager

TOPSAIL BEACH, NC (StarNews) — Mike Rose will take the helm of the town’s administration Jan. 4.

Mayor Howard Braxton introduced Rose to residents at the monthly town board meeting Wednesday night.

“This is a very exciting opportunity for me,” Rose said. “When I saw the opportunity to come here I just couldn’t pass on it.”

Rose has announced his resignation as town administrator of Harrisburg, a northeastern suburb of Charlotte.
