Town of Chadbourn getting new welcome signs

COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Town of Chadbourn wants residents and visitors to know that big changes are coming to the Columbus County town.

Among those changes, new signs welcoming people to town.

According to a social media post, the town is thanking residents who came out for the June 4th council meeting to vote on the new “Welcome to Chadbourn” signs. The new signs will have an updated look and feature one of the biggest events the town hosts every year- The NC Strawberry Festival.

The new signs are being worked on and should be in place in the coming weeks.
