Town Creek Elementary students enjoy new school

The students at Town Creek Elementary in Brunswick County are enjoying their new digs. From new desks and computers, all the way to color coded hallways – Town Creek is brand spanking new, and students, faculty and staff were excited to take advantage of the facility.

Many students relocated to Town Creek as part of the redistricting program in Brunswick County. Students are looking forward to exploring their new school.

“It’s really big, and lots of new colors, and new students. I’m just really impressed by it,” said 3rd grader Brock Totten.

Despite the woes of the redistricting program among parents and faculty, Principal Helen Davis said the first day of school went off without a hitch.
