Toyota owners wondering what to do about recall

A worldwide recall has many Toyota owners wondering where to go from here. Today Toyota stopped production and stopped sales of eight popular vehicle models.

Owners could find themselves in a dangerous situation. Their gas pedals are sticking. In the worst case scenario the car accelerates uncontrollably.

Ashley Scales owns a brand new 2010 Rav 4. She has yet to experience any problems, but she is very concerned about her new SUV.

“I was a little freaked out and a little panicky at first,” she said.”I drove my car right after I read about it and I was panicking like my car feels weird driving. So I got a little worked up about it.”

Toyota of Wilmington would not comment on the situation, referring us to a phone number in California. It went to a voicemail that is filled to capacity.
