TRAFFIC ALERT: CFPUA closing roads for sewer maintenance Tuesday

To facilitate the repair and replacement of aging and damaged wastewater infrastructure, the following road closures will be required beginning Tuesday morning July 6, 2010.

Wrightsville Avenue – The west-bound lanes of Wrightsville Avenue from Essex Drive to Country Club Drive will be closed for 30 to 45 days starting July 6, 2010. Traffic will be diverted into a single lane of eastbound Wrightsville, thereby reducing eastbound Wrightsville Avenue traffic to a single lane.

Princess Place Drive – The intersection of Barclay Hills and Princess Place Drives will be closed for approximately 2 to 4 weeks starting July 6, 2010. Traffic will be detoured around this area. Once repairs at this intersection are completed, repairs will move incrementally down Princess Place Drive with each phase lasting an additional 2 to 4 weeks. The second phase will occur in the approximate area of 4021 Princess Place Drive; the third around 3937 Barclay Hills Drive, and final phase at Grass Lane. Total construction time is estimated at 8 to 16 weeks.
