Trial begins in murder case of Willie Duane Davis

A trial is underway for a man accused of a murder more than two years ago.

Wilmington Police say Nicholas Brown was in the car with three other men on Christmas Eve 2006, when 23-year-old Willie Duane Davis was gunned down on 14th Street.

A jury will be selected to try Nicholas Brown for Davis’s murder.

The trial began Monday. We will keep you updated as we learn more.
