Turtle hospital gets 300 lb. Loggerhead from NJ, names her ‘Snooki’

SURF CITY, NC (WWAY) — The Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center got one very large guest today.

Hospital Director Jean Beasley said they sent a van to pickup a 300 pound female Loggerhead from Beaufort. She said the turtle was flown in after being stranded in new jersey.

Beasley said they will be naming their jersey girl Snooki.
