TV show opens office at Screen Gems

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Lights. Camera. Action. There’s yet another new show in town.

A new pilot called “Hart of Dixie” opened an office at Screen Gems Studios today.

Multiple entertainment websites are reporting “The OC’s” Rachel Bilson will take the lead role as a young New York City doctor who inherits a medical practice in a small southern town.

No word yet on when filming will start.
