Twice as many 2008 vehicles get top safety award

If you’re in the market for a new ride, good news. This year twice as many cars were given the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s top safety award.

Thirty-four vehicles received the group’s top award for 2008.

Ford and Honda had the most vehicles on the list, and the Toyota Tundra is the first pick-up truck ever to make the safety list.
