Two burned during overnight vehicle fire in Southport

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Two people were burned during a vehicle fire in Southport late Wednesday night, according to fire officials.

The Southport Fire Department says one of the victims was flown to the hospital to be treated for their injuries.

No word on what caused the fire.
