Two killed after car crashes into Columbus County pond

COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Two people were killed when after a car crashed into a pond Thursday night.

According to Sgt. Lee with Columbus County Highway Patrol, the call came in around 9 p.m.

Sgt. Lee said the crash happened along Pleasant Plains Church Road. He said the identity of the victims has not yet been released.
