Two men arrested in connection to Whiteville shooting last month

WHITEVILLE, NC (WWAY) — Whiteville Police say two men are charged in connection to a shooting back in November.

US Marshals arrested Corey Tashombae Hines and Taquay Montez Newkirk.

Hines and Newkirk are each charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, discharging a weapon into occupied property, among other charges.

They’re charged in connection to a shooting at Saw Mill Apartments in Whiteville on November 26.
