Two more years for Carolina Beach Rd. tall business signs

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The New Hanover County Planning Board voted to extend its enforcement against tall signs on Carolina Beach Road.

The enforcement was scheduled to start Saturday, but business owners who have signs taller than six feet and 150 square feet will now have two more years to conform.

The planning board says 48 to 60 signs from Monkey Junction to Snows Cut still do not meet the ordinance and need to be changed.
