Two Sisters Bookery for sale

WILMINGTON, NC (GREATER WILMINGTON BUSINESS JOURNAL) — The independent bookstore Two Sisters Bookery, located in downtown Wilmington at The Cotton Exchange, is for sale. Owner Brooks Preik said all fixtures, inventory, shelves, memberships, vendor lists and the bookkeeping software are included in the $45,000 price.

Preik purchased Two Sisters Bookery in 2009 with her daughter after a career as an elementary school teacher and real estate agent.

“My daughter and I always wanted to own a book store and we bought this one,” she said. “I retired and then went back to work and now I’m ready to retire again.”

Preik plans to use her second shot at retirement to research and write a book, while her daughter pursues a career out of town.
