Two men arrested, one still wanted in Wilmington apartment break-in

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police say two men are accused of breaking into an apartment and ransacking the place. The resident allegedly jumped out the window to get away.

Wilmington Police Department says it happened at the Academy Cove Apartments around 10:30 Wednesday night.

The victim cut their hand from jumping onto the fire escape and was transported to New Hanover County Regional Medical Center.

Alston Davis and Telligence Johnson were detained from the scene and charged with burglary in the first degree. Davis was also arrested for an unrelated failure to appear warrant.

Davis is in jail under a $10,100 bond.

Police are searching for a third suspect.
