Two suspects identified in Kangaroo Express armed robbery

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Officials with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office have identified two suspects in connection with an October armed robbery of a gas station.

Deputies said Kendrick Stefon Patton, 22, and Ashley Turner, 18, are both wanted for robbery with a dangerous weapon. Both suspects are from Tennessee, according to officials.

The robbery happened at the Kangaroo Express on Seaside Road near the Sunset Beach/Ocean Isle Beach line October 21. Deputies said that night, a man came into the store with a red bandana covering his face and head and go away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
