Two men chased down by deputies

Two men are behind bars after leading New Hanover County sheriff’s deputies on a chase this morning.

Dispatchers say law enforcement responded to a larceny call at the Food Lion in Porter’s Neck.

Before they got there, they saw the suspects fleeing the scene. Authorities caught up with them on Holly Shelter road after they crashed into another car near the Pender County line.

Dispatchers say the men are being charged with larceny as well as other driving infractions.
