UNC tuition hike ready for legislature’s approval

Tuition is going up for UNC Wilmington students.

The UNC Board of Governors voted this morning to approve an average 3.9% increase of in-state undergraduate tuition and fees at all 16 of its campuses.

This means undergrads will pay $71 more at East Carolina and at UNCW, the rate hike translates to a $432 increase.

The rate hike now heads to the state legislature for approval.
