UNCW will have a digital arts program Fall 2017
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — After high demand and around four to five years of planning, UNCW is excited to offer a new major, digital arts.
The program will offer many skills including encoding and problem solving.
Studio art professors like Ned Irvine, are excited for the new addition.
“We’ve always wanted to kind of produce students that were as well versed in aesthetics and visual design as they were encoding and problem solving and, so the opportunity to do that is incredibly exciting and we think this program will be highly successful,” Irvine said.
The digital arts major will be available to UNCW students in the beginning of Fall 2017.
