UNCW gets money to study coastal issues

UNCW is one of seven North Carolina colleges that will benefit from a scientific research grant. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has awarded $1.7 million to the North Carolina Sea Grant College Program.

The money will be used to address the challenges facing the North Carolina coast through research, education and outreach.
