UNCW kicks off Intercultural Week
This week you can travel around the world without having to leave town. UNCW is hosting its 17th annual Intercultural Week dedicated to celebrating the rich diversity of cultures found on campus and within Wilmington.
The biggest event is the Intercultural Festival Saturday, on campus. Hundreds gather to appreciate music, dance, and food from around the world.
"It’s a wonderful way without having to travel that you really get to travel the world, because you get to meet and interact with students, faculty and community members from all over the world," said Jennifer Fernandez-Villa, UNCW’s International Student Services Director.
All the events this week are open to the public. For a complete list of events, you can visit ,www.uncw.edu/iweek.
