UNCW student robbed at ATM machine

WILMINGTON — A UNC-Wilmington student says she was robbed while using an ATM outside the Warwick Center between 6:30 and seven Tuesday night.

Police say the suspect showed a handgun, but did not point it at the victim.

The suspect is a white male in his late twenties to early thirties, about five-eight or five-nine, with dirty brown curly hair, brown messy facial hair and a goatee.

He was driving an older model dark blue Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla with a dull finish and rust spots on the hood.
