Unfinished text found in car that hit pedestrians

WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC (WWAY) — We’ve learned new details about the accident in Wrightsville Beach last weekend, where two pedestrians were hit by a car. Police say Jedadiah Woodcock was drunk when he hit John Marc Miller and Lindsey Casey. We know he blew a .09 on a breathalyzer test, which is just over the legal limit. Officers also found marijuana in Woodcock’s car.

What’s more, police say they found a partially written text message on the screen of Woodcock’s phone. Texting while driving is illegal in North Carolina.
