UPDATE: Amber Alert canceled, missing boy found safe

ROBSEON COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — An Amber Alert for a missing child in Robeson County is cancelled. The child was found safe.

The Robeson County Sheriffs Department was searching for Jaylon Marcus Bullard in Red Springs.

Jaylon Marcus Bullard is a 1-year-old Indian boy, approximately 2′ tall, weighing 30 pounds. He has brown hair, and brown eyes.

Investigators said there was one abductor. They were looking for 23-year-old Shamael Ellerber. He is a black male and described as being 5’10’, 153 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes as well as several tattoos. He has Melissa tattooed on his chest, Jaden on his right hand and Meagan on his rigth arm.

There’s no word on a motive or whether charges will be filed
