UPDATE: Detectives say Ash teen missing since Friday found

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Detectives say they have safely located an Ash teen who had been missing since Friday morning.
They believed her to be with another teen in Columbus County but have not said how she was found.

Brunswick County deputies say Sarah Alexis Evans, 15, was last seen on Babson Road in Ash around 8 or 9 a.m. Friday. They say she was wearing a black shirt, blue jeans and tennis shoes when she went missing.

Detectives say Sarah has blue eyes, dark blond hair, is about 5’6″ tall and weighs just under 150 lbs. Deputies say Sarah was last seen with BJ Clemmons, who is 18, has black hair, is 5’9″ and weighs around 185 lbs.
