UPDATE: Missing Bolivia woman found safe

UPDATE: Kristin Phelps has been safely located.

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Detectives are asking for the public’s help in their search for a missing Bolivia woman who suffers from a mental disorder.

Brunswick County deputies say Kristin Phelps, 25, was last seen at her home on Midway Road yesterday around 1 p.m. They say Kristin is 5’08” tall and weighs 270 lbs., and has green eyes with dirty blonde hair to her shoulders.

Detectives say she was wearing black pants, a grey shirt and black shoes before she went missing. They say Kristin drives a white, 2012 Dodge Caravan with tag number CAA-8054.

Deputies say Kristin is known to frequent Azalea Mobile Home Park and Robinson Road off of Old Ocean Highway. Anyone with information on Kristin’s whereabouts is asked to contact Det. Michael Wright with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office at (910)253-2777.
