North Brunswick High pausing cheer and football activities due to COVID-19

LELAND, NC (WWAY) — A Brunswick County Schools spokesman confirms the North Brunswick High School is pausing all activity for the cheer and football teams because of COVID-19 impacts within the programs.

The school’s athletic booster club tweeted on Wednesday morning that due to health concerns, all activity for the two teams will be paused until September 25.

The athletics programs will resume activities as soon as possible.
