UPDATE: Stabbing suspect now behind bars in Brunswick Co.

Brunswick County, NC (WWAY) — Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office detectives say a Wilmington man wanted for assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill is now in custody.

Dustin Brandon Taylor, 21, of Middlesound Loop Rd., Wilmington, was wanted for assaulting a male victim with knife. Deputies say the incident occurred on Leland School Rd at approximately 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Investigators say the victim suffered a cut to the arm and was transported to New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

Taylor is behind bars now at the Brunswick County Detention Facility under a $30,000 bond.
