Update on Food Lion gift cards

There has been an update on the Food Lion gift cards given out by Reaching Hearts Ministry on Saturday.

Food Lion was experiencing technical difficulties, and for some reason, the $10 balance was not activated on each card.

Hold onto your cards, the balance should be added by Tuesday morning.

The cards were given out to women in our area who are homeless, single moms, or in prison, so they could buy food for Thanksgiving.

The cards can be used at local Food Lion stores starting Tuesday.
