Update on Whiteville crash that killed groom and two others

There is more Wednesday on the crash that killed a groom and two others on the way to a wedding in Whiteville this past weekend.

Columbus County Highway Patrol confirmed today that 43-year-old John Daniel Kelly, the driver who hit the car carrying the wedding party, is being charged with driving while impaired.

Several open containers were found in his car on the scene of the crash. More charges related to the deaths are pending.
