USCG Diligence back out to sea instead of coming home

They were just hours away from coming home for the holidays, however, the crew of the Coast Guard cutter Diligence has been diverted back out to sea.

The diligence was supposed to dock in Wilmington this afternoon, but early this morning it was sent on a search and rescue mission helping look for a disabled fishing vessel 120 miles east of Charleston.

The crew does not yet know when it will get home to Wilmington.
